Business owners have a lot on their plate. Between managing employees, meeting deadlines, and keeping track of finances, it can be hard to keep everything organized. Luckily, there are a number of great apps that can help with just that. Here are 5 of my favorite business organization apps!
In this post...
Quickbooks Online is an excellent app for small business owners who need to keep track of their finances. It can help you track expenses, create invoices, and even pay employees. I use Quickbooks to keep track of all of our business accounting. Inside the online app, we’re able to grant access to our employees to keep track of their time sheets and generate payroll all in one place. These features help streamline your business to keep accurate records and organize job costing and financial forecasts.

The Todoist app is a great option for anyone that needs to keep track of their tasks. It allows you to create projects and sub-projects, assign tasks, and set deadlines. I keep this app handy and ready to use daily on my phone. Having a list that I can physically check off my tasks as I go helps me achieve more. The tasks even integrate with Google Calendar to help me schedule each day.

Slack is a great app for team communication. Think of it as an organized chatroom for your workplace! (Channelling my inner MSN Messenger nostalgia.) It allows you to create channels for different topics, send direct messages, and even call or video chat with other team members. This app is useful for sharing files and having discussions that can be saved for future reference. Plus, it’s easy to use and can be accessed from anywhere at any time. This makes it a great option for businesses that have employees located remotely or that might not be in a shared office setting each day.
Convertkit is an email marketing service that allows you to create automated email sequences, create opt-in forms, and track the success of your campaigns. I use Convertkit to create automated email sequences for my email subscribers and customers. I love that I can set it and forget it and that it integrates with other apps like Google Sheets to help me track the success of my campaigns. Convertkit is a great option for businesses that want to grow their email list and increase sales.
Bill.com is an app that allows you to pay bills, send and receive payments, and track expenses. I use it to pay all of our bills and to keep track of our expenses. It’s a great app because it’s easy to use and it integrates with other apps like Quickbooks Online. This helps me keep track of our finances in one place and I am able to classify bills to specific job assignments to help keep accurate job costing. Our vendors love that we use this app because it helps them get paid faster with the ePayment option. Bill.com is a great option for businesses that need to pay bills, keep track of their expenses, and pay bills automatically.
